Tasting Notes

Lemony ∙ Floral ∙ Nutty ∙ Fresh Linens

Our cult favorite coriander is lemony, nutty and floral like you've never had before. Crisp like fresh linens, and bursting with zesty aromas. Customers have been known to keep a jar close by for regular inhaling and tasting, I swear it's calming!

  • Grown on the Sakariya family farm amidst custard apples, guavas, and heirloom wheat, our Nandini coriander is named after the Sakariya family's beloved cow, the undisputed matriarch of their regenerative farm. It's a variety that Dharmesh, a third generation farmer and natural farming expert has keenly developed for its incredible fragrance and vibrant coloring.

FAQs

Yes! All our spices are 100% pesticide and chemical free (we lab test every harvest!), and all our partners are regenerative and natural farmers dedicated to taking care of their land and soil, but the organic certs in India are VERY expensive, and a 4 year process. So whilst some of our farm partners are in the process of being certified, many do not feel it is worth the cost, and that given that their product is the highest quality, they shouldn't need to pay a Western certifying body to tell them that!

Most of the spices are good 2 years from the mill date, which is listed on the harvest label sticker on the jar or bag. That being said, our spices are extremely potent and fresh as we take incredible care to source yearly and aim for quality, so 2 years is our most conservative guideline, compared to most spices in the grocery store which are often 5-10 years old upon purchase.

We do! You can search for our wholesalers using our store locator here. And if you are a wholesaler and don’t see yourself on the locator, please email wholesale@diasporaco.com and we will add you to this ASAP! Thank you!

Store them in an airtight container in a dark, dry place. Do not store spices in direct sunlight, as this will shorten their shelf life.
