LOKA Chai Maker

Designed with an integrated fine mesh strainer and a specialized rim to prevent boil-overs. Think of it as a kettle meets saucepan meets moka pot but perfectly tailored for your daily chai.

Masala Chai Blend

A powerhouse mix of Chota Tingrai Black Tea, and six regeneratively farmed spices, delivering deep, spice-forward, balanced flavor in every sip.

How to Use

Shake the pack before opening, add 10g (up to 2 teaspoons) of the Masala Chai blend in the strainer once it is locked into the Chai Maker. Add 200ml and 400ml of milk through the strainer, using the line on the strainer as a guide. Place on medium heat for 8–12 minutes, until desired color is reached. Add a sweetener to taste, pour confidently (there won’t be any spillage!), and enjoy!

Anish Shonpal and Nikhil Shah, the co-founders of Loka, share a friendship forged in the halls of the University of Cambridge and strengthened over years of music, culture, and—most importantly—chai. But it was during the long, isolating months of the COVID-19 lockdown that their love for chai became something more. Anish, navigating a cancer diagnosis, found solace in the daily ritual of brewing chai, and Nikhil, with a background in product design, saw an opportunity to transform that ritual into something more accessible. The Loka Chai Maker was born from a simple yet powerful question: why has coffee seen countless innovations while chai remains tethered to the same stovetop method? They spent years testing, failing (sometimes explosively!), and refining until they created the patent-pending "Chai Fountain" technology.
