For a team whose members have grown up eating chai and biscuits as much as we did milk and cookies, we wanted to share the same joy with our community. Taking inspiration from the biscuits and cookie tins of our childhoods, we worked with the brilliant Laurie Ellen Pellicano -- a New York-based baker, food stylist, consultant, and writer -- to create five signature cookies with our spices. Your cookies also come in a custom tin created in collaboration with traditional and renowned Kashmiri enamelware artisans working with Kashmir-based brand Pyaala. Each tin is hand painted which means that they take many hours to create and that no tin is exactly alike. 

1. Milky Moringa: Moringa shortbread base with white & blond chocolate, plus a little goat milk powder to bring a little extra milky/creaminess and funk.

Ingredients: organic flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour), butter, powdered sugar, white chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla extract), egg, Kudligi Moringa, milk, salt baking powder, goat milk powder. | Contains: wheat, milk products, eggs

2. Salted Chocolate:  Salty-sweet, cacao-packed, buttery shortbread, with cacao nibs for an added crunch.

Ingredients: organic flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour), butter, Anamalai Cacao, dark brown sugar, powdered sugar, cacao nibs, egg, Chai Masala, coffee, salt, baking powder. | Contains: wheat, milk products, eggs

3. Saffron Honey: Buttery saffron infused biscuits laced with honey.

Ingredients: organic flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour), butter, cornstarch, light brown sugar, honey, milk, Kashmiri Saffron, salt. | Contains: wheat, milk products

4. Crunchy Millet Rusk: A twice baked cookie with a duo of spices and textures along with the duo of lemon & orange zest (plus a lick of brandy).

Ingredients: organic flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour), sugar, butter, eggs, millet, poppy seeds, orange zest, lemon zest, brandy, baking powder, salt, Anamalai Nutmeg, Anamalai Mace. | Contains: wheat, milk products, eggs

5. Sumac Hibiscus Cranberry: A trio of sour ingredients in a shortbread base with a cran-hibiscus-sumac sugar. 

Ingredients: organic flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour), butter, powdered sugar, egg, cranberry, Wild Heimang Sumac, Naga Hills Hibiscus, lemon zest, salt, baking powder. | Contains: wheat, milk products, eggs

All cookies are made in a facility where nuts and other allergens are present. Best enjoyed within 6 weeks of receipt.
