It's the healing drink of our grandmothers, but made distinctly Diaspora. Our second masala (or spice blend) is vibrant, well-rounded, and wildly delicious! With a base of high-curcumin Pragati Turmeric (9.2%!) and Aranya Black Pepper for maximum absorption, our Haldi Doodh Masala also features Makhir Ginger, Baraka Green Cardamom, and Peni Miris Cinnamon layered in for added warmth and deliciousness. In other words, it’s the Haldi Doodh or turmeric milk we wish we grew up with. And, we've gotta admit: We’re so happy to sip this golden elixir now, in sickness and in health!

Ingredients
- 1 cup plant-based or cow's milk
- 1 to 1¼ teaspoons Haldi Doodh Masala
- Sweetener, like honey, Madhur Jaggery, or date syrup, to taste
Methods
- Combine milk and desired amount of Haldi Doodh Masala in a small saucepan and stir to combine. Place over medium heat and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce the heat to low, add in your sweetener, to taste, then increase the heat to medium again and bring back to a boil. Turn off the heat, pour into your favorite mug and sip away!
- Alternatively, you can combine the milk and desired amount of Haldi Doodh Masala in a mug and heat in the microwave until it reaches your optimal drinking temperature (microwave wattage differs from machine to machine!). Add in your sweetener, to taste, stir well, and enjoy!
